Franconia Art and Artists Celebration

Franconia Sculpture Park, 29836 St. Croix Trail, Shafer, MN
Saturday, September 22 - 11am-7pm

Is there a better way to celebrate an exhibition full of new ambitious sculptures made by truly dedicated artists than to throw a creative & fun-filled festival?!  In true Franconia fashion, there will be live music, family art-making activities, guided tours of new work, delicious food and beverages, and more. Parking is $5 per car.

Franconia Sculpture Park’s 2018 Art & Artists Celebration is a full-day family arts programs. This event invites our amazing community to experience art and music through a multi-faceted program of hands-on art-making activities, free guided exhibition tours featuring over 40 new sculptures created by Franconia’s 2018 artists, as well as musical performances by Corey Medina & Brothers, Jaeden James & The Hunger, Retro Soul & the Westside Horns featuring Big Mike, and more!

The hard work of Franconia’s current artists pays off when festival time rolls around, as it serves as the official opening reception for all the new sculptures created in 2018.  Join us and experience raw creativity over Franconia’s 43-acre landscape.  From iron castings poured on-site to monumental works 45 feet tall, to earth installations and performance art—the combination of a relaxing atmosphere and dynamic art, not to mention unlimited photo opportunities, makes for a truly enjoyable day!

The Franconia Art & Artists Celebration is the perfect destination on a beautiful fall day in the St. Croix River Valley.
